My Story
Melindia Castro Mann, DNP, CNM, WHNP-BC, is a certified nurse-midwife women’s health nurse practitioner. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio, a Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery and Women’s Health from Georgetown University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a focus on Public Health from the University of Texas Health San Antonio. With several years at Johns Hopkins, she played a key role in establishing the recurrent UTI clinic. Before that, she provided rural healthcare to women in western Kentucky and middle Tennessee. Additionally, she holds a certification in weight management from the Obesity Medicine Association and specializes in caring for perimenopausal and menopausal women.
